Konnichiwa!
Unbelievable! After working the last months on the preparation of this blog, it is finally time to release my very first post!
I spare you a welcome-post and directly start with content, that you can expect on this blog/vlog:
I show you in the video beneath how to make a boring, male sized T-Shirt into a unique bellytop!
This video is for amateurs in sewing like me – so I will explain most of my steps from scratch. Except how to use a sewing machine. (◡ ‿ ◡ ✿)
I have listed the materials below, if you want to copy them.
There you will also find some suggestions, which replacement materials you could use.
Don’t forget to leave me a “Thumbs Up” and subscribe, if you liked the video!
Materials
- Male sized Shirt
- Iron-on patch
- Iron
- Baking paper
- Satin band
- Colour matching yarn
- Pins
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
Make it yours!
Obviously, you don’t need to use exactly the same materials, as I have listed.
- You will probably have a different iron-on patch – you could choose a sew-on patch, too!
- Also, you could use a different colour or size of the satin band. You could even use lace instead!
- Lately, there is this trend of an open back – so instead of cutting the triangle out in the front, you could make the knotted part of the shirt in the back. I would cut off an even bigger triangle then, if you like to show your back.
I hope, you had as much fun watching this DIY bellytop Tutorial, as I had making it!
